You Got Faster. Your Company Didn’t.

Using a tool the wrong way often feels efficient, but usually creates more work for you or someone else to deal with later.

I recently read an article that keeps ringing in my head. It talks about how people feel more efficient when using AI, but comes to mind when…

  • I have an idea to simplify something, but realize it only shifts the work to someone else.
  • I read or write an email that is verbose.
  • Someone (sometimes me) spends a lot of time explaining in detail something that only needed a simple answer.

That list could go on and on. Basically, a little thoughtfulness can go a long way.

It’s a quick read. You Got Faster. Your Company Didn’t simply explains how AI is saving people time but not making them more efficient.
