The purpose of this site

Many times, a clear solution to a problem I face cannot be found online. When I find a solution that may be useful to others, this is where I put it. My hope is that someone else will benefit from it, including my future self. Basically, anything posted here should be of use to someone else. Or at least that is what I imagined at the time.
